Louise began her Yoga journey whilst living a fast-paced lifestyle in London practicing dynamic styles of Hot Yoga. This fitted in with the intensity of her life and opened her up to what it felt like to be truly in the moment. After spending months in India at ashrams and taking her first teacher training there, in Hatha Vinyasa Flow, she decided to shift things down a gear and move to Brighton in 2012.

It was there that her Yoga mentor suggested to her that even though she was drawn to dynamic Yoga what she really needed was the opposite, to slow things down, to help heal injuries and to find a sense of balance.

It was then Louise discovered Yin yoga, a slow mindful practice that is the perfect tonic to a busy over stimulated world. Louise has since studied Yin with Norman Blair, Sarah Powers, Paul Grilley and Bernie Clarke and now runs her own Yin Teacher Trainings in Brighton and Goa. She is a life coach, Reiki healer and blends all of this with the philosophy of Yoga & Chinese Medicine when she teaches.

Louise is passionate about helping people create space in their life to connect with themselves, to breathe slowly, to think clearly and listen to their heart’s guidance. Yoga has taught Louise that all you ever have to do is be yourself, just as you are right now and this is underlying in her teaching. Louise teaches Mindful Hatha Flow & Yin Yoga, her Yin Yang classes are a mix of both, and she teaches to all levels.

Louise is also trained in trauma sensitive yoga which enables her to be trauma informed when teaching, to help people to feel safe in class.

Louise has studied intensely with breath master, hypnotherapist and neuroscience expert Ben Wolff. She brings the valuable teachings she has learned from him into all she shares, such as how to breathe to encourage harmony through out the bodies systems and brain, to be able to create rapid change for almost anything, how to practice movement/ yoga safely and so it can be most healing. She teaches his practice of Creative Sleep, which empowers the student to be able to get back to sleep in the night, to strengthen imagination and creativity which has an impact in all areas of life and to establish a baseline of peace of mind, joy, strength over getting lost and triumph over mind made fears.

From growing up with asthma and allergies she has studied how to heal these with breath practices from Ben Wolff and now runs workshops and 1-1s for people who would like to breathe more easily.

After going through the journey of setting up her own business as a life coach and Yoga teacher she loves to mentor new Yoga teachers and support them in creating a life doing what they love.

Louise now lives just down the road from Brighton in Worthing, with her husband and little ginger cat, Fudge. She loves to meet new people so please do get in touch if you have any questions or would just like to chat! 07779 150886/ [email protected]
