Here is a bit about the different styles of Yoga Louise teaches:
Hatha Flow Yoga which is an alignment between movement and breath, turning classic Hatha asanas into a beautiful heart centred flow. It is a perfect combination to increase flexibility and strength whilst leaving you feeling totally relaxed and present by the end of each class. Beginners welcome.
Yoga for a Peaceful Mind is gentle Yoga to help release energy from the day into guided simple breathing practices and Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation). To encourage a peaceful mind and deep rest. This class is for every body and all levels. Please bring a blanket and a cushion if you can.
Yin Yoga is an opportunity to slow down in a busy world. We hold the poses for 3-15 minutes which helps to release layers of built up tension in the body, freedom in the joints and to encourage Qi (energy) to flow freely through our meridian lines, as well as helping to calm the mind. A yin yang practice is a mix of yin and vinyasa flow, a balance between energy and stillness.
Deep Rest sessions at Salt Water Studios, Worthing, involve some gentle movement, a simple breath practice into Yoga Nidra with a Sound Bath.
“Louise has a wonderful calm energy about her with a very relaxed
teaching style, leaving plenty of time for her students to engage and
feel heard. I find her to be a very open, friendly and caring teacher
who knows her stuff and doesn’t feel she has to have all the answers.” Sunny Peta Yoga – Eastbourne
